Not as good as the 2002 we had a couple of weeks, this was still tasty, but definitely past its prime - Dark red, full bodied with a nose of cherry, blackfruit, plum, kirsch and vanilla, decent structure but fading, sweet, smooth with decent length drink up! (87 Points).

Very fruit forward, NW style wine. Opened up and calmed down after 30 or so minutes, but lacks subtlty and finesse. Def not a Rhone style despite the grapes. Not esp food friendly.

Good dark color with fresh tones. A spicey berry aroma reveals a bit of tar and black pepper. Medium nectar with moderate acidity. Big cranberry flavors mingle with citrus, spicey raspberry, rocks, and a twig of earth. The finish is short and acidic with mild fruit. The wine has a finesse about it. It really opens up well after some time decanted.

14.5% alc...sappy, sweet, nice Grenache. Great, no, better than three previous vintages though.
