Just beginning to drink. Characteristic earth, blood, iron, feral qualities. Rich, restrained dark fruit, abundant tannin & acid. Old forest fire charcoal finish... nearly suggesting mezcal. Neutral/no oak influence - as proper.

Forgot about this one and it was surprisingly good. The tannins are still abit on the firmish side, but it has taken on some stewed fruit notes, which I don’t prefer, but all-in-all, not bad.

Medium purple going garnet. Black cherry and rasin with touch of tobacco and cedar. Pallet of black cherry pepper and spice. Acid is strong but tannins missing. Day:2 is very prune and rasin driven with some more tannins especially since the sediment boundary is rising.

Drank with sous vide venison w/ a wild berry sauce. Great match. Nice plump red fruit, with balanced tannic structure. Edges had turned a little brick-colored, but mostly still had its deep dark color.
