Nose of melon and nutmeg. Melon and mineral taste on the palate. Not a crisp chard. Slight butter, smooth and balanced. Not a lot going on fruit wise, but a nice well made white.

Popped and poured on the patio. Pine Mountain AVA fruit, 100% French Oak per website. Well rounded on the palate. Apple, lemon and honeysuckle on the nose. Good acidity. Quite enjoyable.

Mostly from a new AVA called Pine Mountain. French oak 30% new. Nice profile, oak is there but very well done. They're going for Burgundian profile, don't know if I would go that far. I would actually guess Oregon, so not overt CA for sure. Apple notes, slightly baked apple, pear, honeysuckle. Nice finish.

Bouquet of lemon and pineapple, slightly acidic ,thinner than many chardonnays, almost like a sauvignon blanc. Strong minerality. I don't taste the butter at all, clean finish. A great change from the more traditional chardonnay.

There is an astringent finish I don't like.
