Give this some time to decant. Interesting grape varietals from Aus. The nose is a tad oaky/earthy with deep dark fruit. The palate initial hits you with acid and some smooth tannin that carry some dark fruit-plum and smooth vanilla notes. Medium weight. The oak predominates the finish, but mild. This got better with some air. It is balanced overall i think with decent QPR. Maybe a little oaky/earthy for me.
With the acid, good food wine. Could age a little i guess, but certainly it is what it is right now.

Medium nose with some dark fruit, raspberry, chocolate and spicy hints.Likewise on the palate, quite savoury with nice fruit, but it turned out to be rather hollow with a weak structure and short finish.Still quite enjoyable and easy drinking.

Ruby with purple highlights. Ripe dark fruit on the nose: blackberries, plum, cherries and cassis. Some liquorice, eucalyptus, herbs and cappucino oak. Fullbodied, rather smooth and somewhat acidic palate in line with the nose. Some cinnamon spiciness ja oak toast. Mid-length finish at best with some berry tartness. Too oaky to shine and sadly the high'ish acidity just couldn't really brighten this up. Weird blend sounded interesting but didn't deliver.
