Not as good as the last bottle which could have been influenced by some amazing wines we had before this bottle. Fruit forward but on the acidic side. Still good but a step down from Merryvale Pinot frank first.

Deep garnet with nice body for a pinot. Notes of medium cherry, dried herbs, green ripe vegetable and a hint of clove. Tasting is a bit different with the cherry a little brighter, some spiciness and oak coming through. The wine is a bit jammy but not overdone. Balance, acidity and tannins are well done.

Lots of fruit, oak and alcohol. Nice nose of berry, cherry, bramble, vanilla, clove, violet. Medium+ body, high acidity & alcohol (14.4%). Not bad for this ripe, extracted style, but too hot and oaky for my taste.
