Weekly tasting group #213; A fully blind test. (@ AH): Beautiful bouquet with ripe cherries and dark berries. On the palate a sweet start with a lot of chocolate, good fruits, soft and fresh acidity and round, soft tannin. 89 - 90

Medium/full bodied, dark red in color, plushly textured, with a ripe, sweet, black raspberry, thyme, pepper and garrigue personality. There is freshness and a blast of kirsch in the finish.

Not a lot of familiarity with CdPs. Restrained on the fruit, big hit of kirsch on the back end. something different

A mid-winter visit to Châteauneuf-du-Pape; 2/5/2015-2/7/2015 (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Southern Rhône, France): Quite traditional. Pleasing and round. Not especially explosive but clean, proper and pleasant.
