  • I'm giving this top marks, at least for me giving the age and overall experience for the price. Producer is hit and miss for me, but is fellow Canadian! I tried the '06 vintage in past and it was ok, but this seems overall more balanced, smooth and tasty with a few levels of complexity. I want more on the shelf.

Nose is interesting with dark fruit, tasty meaty quality, and some earthy oak (light) and a ?floral component that makes this interesting. Palate is medium to full bodied, similar qualities abound. Round and smooth. Light on acid and tannin. This is tasty just by itself, but is a little nicer with some food. Be sure to let this see air for 30 mins.
