  • Not the best vintage of this wine. However, the average assessment in CellarTracker is misguided, in my opinion. Powerful and balanced wine. Licorice. Black fruits. A little mint. Lacking the elegance and complexity observed in the best vintages, but is far from a common wine. For the right price, it's worth. 92+

  • Tons of tart cherry extraction that hides the tannins, which are certainly there. Cinnamon spice aftertaste. Not at all traditional, but what is it? I can't tell what will happen to all the tartness, but this is an intense wine that necessitates more storing.
