As expected and meets the QPR - Light/med style with nice low level acid/tannin. Otherwise dark berry/plum fruit that is tasty. Easy drinking solo and with a variety of food.

Transparent Ruby. Smells like birch bark and licorice. Medium bodied. Cherries, maybe raspberries, and a woody character. Very high acid, pairs well with tomato sauces. Good value food wine, but forgettable.

We liked it. Dark fruits, mainly blackberry and plum. Sort of reminded me of a shiraz, but with less sweetness. Good qpr.

Nicey example of Nero d'Avola, fruit forward, tobacco undertones, relatively short finish, but far better than the price wold suggest.
