  After an hour and one half in the decanter and another two hours this wine was very good but still tight. It had the typical Barolo characteristics in the nose and palette. On the 2nd day and little bit better, but on the 3rd day it was open for business. A generous nose and palette that was beautiful with those dark fruits and earthy tar.
  If you pop and pour this wine it won’t stand a chance. This bottle was in top condition. Three more left.

  Disappointing because it lacked the classic Nebbiolo character, any sense of terroir, and strength of flavors. Not a bad wine but underperforming at the moment.

  strong petrol/tar bouquet upon opening, took 3-4 hours to dissipate and then was very nice drinking
