Prior bottle was nearly two years ago and my notes were quite consistent. Red cherry, rose, iron and leather on the nose. Between medium and full bodied with red cherry upfront which continues to shows a good mix of rounded openness and more youthful brightness. Mid-body might be slightly better than my prior bottle with good depth, but it's the elegance and balance that sets this wine apart. Tart red cherry notes on the backside and iron, leather, earth and integrated spices through the finish. Overall, felt slightly more balanced and slightly more expressive than my prior bottle. Showing beautifully now, with no signs of fading and should be able to hold this level for several more years. Always happy to see my final bottle of a wine show as well as this one did.

Mature and rich, ready to drink and wouldn’t keep for much longer. Dark cherry’s, lingonberries and cranberrys on the finish.
