Maybe a tad over the edge for me but still super enjoyable to drink. Definitely in secondary or tertiary realm, but there was a sliver of fruit still left in the wine. Last bottle for me and was a good time to pull it. Brick colored to a clear rim. Sediment. Deep forest floor, hints of plum, decomposed bark.

Superb. Resolved, with notes of blackberry, cassis, cocoa, coffee, red fruit, mint, eucalyptus, tar, charcoal, and red pencil. Exactly what a first-class California Cab in its drinking window should be. Decanted 1 hour..

Same notes as last coravin pour. Head to head with a 2012. 99' was much more plum, more complex, more Bordeaux. 12' held it's own, but can use a bit more time. 99'...drink up now!

Coravin pour. Similar notes to last bottle. Perfect spot right now. Will be finishing the bottle for Thanksgiving Dinner. A little more minerally this time around. Maybe bottle variance. Lots of fruit still. Integrated tannins. Drink now or hold for next few years, but this is ready to go.

Off the hook PnP. Still there. Best of the night against serious bottles.
