  Stunning wine. Dark and rich, but smooth. Hints of dark cocoa, thyme, coffee. Immense complexity and a long finish. Started drinking after 30min decant, got better through the meal. Was actually good even right out of the bottle.

  My 2nd time trying this 2016 and at this point, it is mind blowing. Give it a full 90 minutes to open up and then it is a fully powerful, fruit forward wine. Absolutely amazing. Deep vibrant fruits but very smooth with no hard edges.

  Drink after 3 hours of aeration, without decanting.
  Deep ruby with purple rim. Nose of cherry, vanilla, leather, and spices. Full-bodied, with elegant, dense, and rounded mouthfeel. Soft tannin and medium-to-low acidity. Finish is fruity and reasonably long. Drinking beautifully now, but also worth to wait. 93.5pt.

  I really like this. Opened on July 3. Decanted and kept in wine fridge for an hour before serving. Vacusealed the remaining bottle and put it in a regular fridge till July 12 and drank the last glass then. Last glass was great. I don’t know how, but when the wine hits my tongue I just see the vineyard so clearly in my mind. I have a soft spot for this estate and I enjoyed this bottle very much.
