2010 Chambertin Grand Crus 9+1 Blind Tasting: Quite strong, but not muscular. Maybe this is lacking a bit of fitness form the post-2014/2015 Tremblay, but we still feels this the youngest wine of the flight, lots of potential.

Pure elegance. first time tasting a grand cru of hers and i wasn't disappointed. beautifully pure ripe fruits on the mid palette which coat the mouth with a refined, elegant texture. very impressive.

Ten or twenty years too soon? Probably yes. Impressive and hugely enjoyable from a restaurant list now? Absolutely! Power without weight. The first criterion of gc met.
It picked up on and carried every challenge from the food pairings. Forest fruit, with darker fruits taking over as it warmed and opened in the glas. A lovely persistent wild strawberry note remained a signature throughout the evening. As an undercurrent to the fruit there's pine sap, smoked meats and a bit of iron. Fairly firm tannins and a sold spine of acidity.
In other words, elegance, perhaps without outright charm, but with huge personality and without flaws. Another testament to why burgundy is the greatest wine on the planet. 95-96

Dark aromatics, slightly medicinal. Feels young. Clean.
