With shepherd's pie. Might have been too light/subtle to stand up to the pie; we followed it with The Wine Society's Exhibition Fleurie, which was bigger and earthier and might have been a better match. The Rochette Regnie remains a lovely cool, subtle, delicious wine.

E&R's 3rd Annual Beaujolais Weekend; 11/17/2012-11/18/2012 (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR): Nice soft fruit on the nose, which seems creamy and luscious. More creamy texture on the palate, with tart lean flavors and not showing too much fruit. Overall, things are quiet. Tart citric acid on the finish. Pretty tight.
