Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89.5 points

  • Popped and poured. Deep golden color. Aromas of pear, minerals, honey. Sweet caramel flavors over mineral acid bedrock. Floral and citrus elements in the lingering finish.

Delicate, nuanced, complex, delicious. The color had me worried, and with each sip I'm afraid it's going to fall apart, but right now this is first class.

  • Cork welded to the side of the bottle. Removed, in pieces, and decanted. Slightly oxidized, definitely well into the downhill slope. Having said that, this was quite good with food - the oxidation takes a back seat and the firm acids manage to hold things together.
