  I made a mistake with this wine. Only opened 2 hours before dinner then decanted at dinner. The wine was thin and translucent almost Barolo in style and color. Then we let it sit and in another hours it developed and was more medium to full bodied, garnet color with no browning at the rim you would expect from a 93. DO OVER, would have decanted 3-4 hours and returned to bottle. Bright cherries, chocolate notes, very smooth and elegant with velvety mouth feel. At first agressive tannins and acidity which settled over time. Excellent and would have received a higher score had I treated the wine properly.
