A lot of black fruit on the nose with a bit of bramble. A modern style with plenty of fruit but has the classic fresh and bright acidity as well as good grip. Overall, a very pleasing and slightly bigger style Chianti.

Bright solid deep red color with expressive vanilla oak nose, this is a wine in the current "international style" that really does not speak of typical Chianti or Sangiovese. Technically correct in acid balance, tannin, and clean flavors it lacks flair. Hint of sweetness in the finish.

Garnet color of medium-light to medium depth. Moderately expressive Nose is dominated by a non-descript purple & red berry mélange. Medium bodied. Seems underripe; slightly smoky; a bit grapey and earthy. Gut impression score: low to mid 80’s.
