pours amber of an orange wine, no mousse but some bubbles still present. Cat pee,Honey, resin, oranges, blue cheese on the nose. Faint bubbles, palate has ripe red apples, slight cheesiness and honey but a strong acid backbone for its age. Not overly oxidized. Medium long finish. Oldest champagne I’ve ever tried, intellectually interesting and would welcome trying more old champagnes to compare. Wouldn’t say it was delicious exactly though.

Delicious, mature, complex. Bubbles dimished (but not flat), emphasizing vinosity.
