(Marion Valpolicella) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-this is Funky; auto body shop meets top soil; just smells really funky and dirty, but interesting; PALATE-this wine tastes exactly like really high end chocolate covered cherries; like the finest chocolate covered cherry liqueur in the world; it is DYNAMITE on the palate; has an enormously delicious sensibility while having an amazing mid-palate and beautiful transition to a very silky smooth finish; you can almost chew this wine; almost dessert like, but still has that bone dry red wine sensibility; this is really intriguing; the age of this wine has really worked for this wine; Mott says, "It has the Delicious factor with a capital 'D'"; you should definitely seek this out; beautiful; beautiful fruit, but still has enough of a backbone with acidic minerality and tannins structure as well; very balanced ; AG-89; GV-91+

There's a bit of "corked" like flavors, and I'm worried about the remaining bottles.
It was still good however - good balance and chocolate flavors.
