Well found this last puppy in the back of the cellar. I was very pleased to see how this has resolved the tannins and still maintain the bright fruit flavors. I didn't see any signs of bricking and was also surprised that I didn't have to fight the sediment in the bottle. This was a solid cab and I think it was a steal for $35 based on how this has aged. The wine is ready to go on Pnp. Enjoy it now.

Here is why... If you drink this wine in 2016, the "strong" hits you at the beginning, but then you taste a bit of fruit. The fruit wears off, quick, then to wood for a second or two (enough to comment "wood"). That is when [in my opinion] "amazing!"like, happens. Cocoa! Yes, that's right, the slight bittersweet cocoa with the smell of chocolate. Left me smooth, and a long velvet feeling. Love is time in a bottle.

Still a tannic monster with lots of fruit but its definitely on the backside of its life. The tannins smoothed out after an hour, the fruit became jammy and acid started rover take it. This is was best at opening, so drink up if you got them.

Had this after a bottle of '05 Lancaster and preferred this one. Great time to drink, mellowed with time, soft, smooth, silky.

Good wine! Body and color were in good condition. Earthy tones from start to finish. Could have last another 2 years.
