honey, watermelon, white peaches, and vanilla on the nose. honey and ripe peaches primarily come across on the palate. low to moderate acidity and a relatively short finish. a decent mildly sweet wine that paired well with a cheese plate. Nothing terribly complex.
A rich gold in color. Aromas of honeyed pears and apple on the nose. Silky, sweet and rich tasting. Flavors of pear, honey, apple with a bit of orange peel and spice. Long finish. Excellent value. Lovely.
Had this over a week ago, but remember a delicious sweet chenin with very pure fruit flavours, but little of the funky flavours that chenin can have. Almost like an auslese style. No complexity yet, but it will be hard to wait to see if it ever develops any (A-)!
