Poured through a pin , very nice , lots of fruit , a bit simple likely would improve w some air. Opened the bottle and had w friends , very nice . All enjoyed.

Acquired at auction - so no telling how this bottle lived its life. Wow! This is just delicious. Fruit, flower petals, vanilla, dusty but light tannin, oak (just a bit too much, revealing a typical Napa weakness) & cedar. There's a 2 minute finish with a warm and inviting mouthfeel. It's still so youthful and fresh while beautifully integrated. A lot of life left here, with a bright color and almost no bricking. This is what I expect from showkett fruit, but with Rutherford tannins! I planned to drink this over 2 days, but there's only a headache for my tomorrow.

The CT drinking window ends at 2010, but this bottle tasted like it was at the height of its prime. Tannins beautifully submerged without losing the structural integrity of the wine. Reminded me of a Heitz Martha's Vineyard, on the nose. Color is still deep red.

From magnum, still an excellent oakville cab. Short decant is fine.
