Pretty much consistent with previous note, although more citric than I remembered, with sharper acidity. Unsure if it's just bottle variation, but this one seemed like it needed a couple of years more to come together.

(Hiedler Grüner Veltliner Reserve Thal Kamptal) Light green-tinged yellow color; lovely, savory, tart pear, mineral nose; tasty, complex as usual, mineral, tart green fruit, tart pear palate; medium-plus finish
(Hiedler Grüner Veltliner Thal) ($29.00) Very deep löss covered with red sand give what I think is Ludwig’s signature GrüVe, the one that is most crucially a Hiedler wine. And this is just excellent hi-def cool-vintage Thal, just the way I like them best; all its rich exotica in a firm binding of organized structured flavor; the iron and leaf-smoke are strong this year, and the finish is long and spicy.
