A really great Village level wine at a fantastic place right now. Red berries throughout with savory spice and very elegant structure. Wonderfully complex for its level.

Popped and poured. Very reductive start. We shall have to see what emerges tomorrow.
Day 2...no progress.☹️
Started opening up by the 4th day open (bottle left uncorked an hour+ each day before re-inserting cork), with the black fruit still mostly fresh. I expect this was a slightly flawed bottle, but do not plan to open another bottle for several more years.

Very fragrant and bright. Barely showing any of its elevage, it's made in a strong, forward style but it's quite enjoyable. Very generous of fruit and spice with a long palate. Firm structure. This likely has a long life ahead of it

Lighter color than the Morey. Typical Nuits combination of earthiness and dark red fruit-very attractive. Medium weight, good depth and finish. Quite nice.
