  Medium ruby color and a touch of brick towards the rim. Pretty and perfumed notes of sweet and sour red berries, also some darker fruit too (blackberry liquor), sweet spices of cinnamon, cloves and vanilla but also some pepper as well as some mineral notes. It's medium-full bodied but a little lighter than the 2009, with medium-high acidity and medium tannin. Good length. I like this better than 2009 due to its higher acidity, slightly lighter body and the extra tension it has. It's also a little less ripe. Very good QPR.
