Medium dark garnet in color, showing a fair amount of reduction on the nose, this needs substantial air time. Has lost a bit of it's forward fruit since release, but shows reserved dark cherry/raspberry with spice notes and a hint of orange peel. Somewhat rustic and austere, I would probably put this away for at least 5 years.

Soft and charming red fruit. Good red cherry flavors, very nice textures with good Chambolle-styled iron minerality. Quite closed on the nose - a little perfume; lovely sappy palate. Great energy and vibrancy. On the simpler side, but very good for a village.

PNP. Stems, spice and red cherry on the nose. Tart, acidic and lively palate, lighter concentration and crunchy fruit. Juicy finish.

La Paulee Off Grid (Bluxome Street Winery, San Francisco): Attractive nose of faded roses and strawberry fruit. Medium weight, solid acidity, some obvious wood and earth at the end.
