From Jeroboam. The best Grüner Veltliner from Bründlmayer I have tasted. Fraicheur, fruit, spices, power, enough acids to overcome this "problem" that some GV have, good length. After the nr 1 Honivogl from F. Hertzberger my best experience with this fantastic grape.

A very special birthday dinner (Amsterdam): A rare double magnum, no, not a pinot gris, not a viognier (we were searching); from the bouquet to the midtaste there is hint of sweetness (in fact ripeness) in this very concentrated wine with a very flowery bouquet combined with white fruit. After the very tasty midtaste, this GV finished perfectly dry with gentle bitters in a long and persistent aftertaste; lots of life ahead.

Lemon-gold with deep creamy apple, vanilla and apricot on the nose. Mostly old oak used. Creamy textured with energetic acidity that balances medium + alcohol and medium full body. Impressively concentrated with long smooth finish.
