Relatively clear garnet. Blackberry, raspberry, jam on the nose. Medium to full bodied wine with very ripe raspberry and black raspberry. Sweet jam-like flavors. Some vanilla oak notes. Subdued a tannins and a lack of acidity make for a relatively flabby wine. Perhaps a touch sweet.
My wife opened a forgotten bottle for a crock pot recipe. When we found it in the fridge pumped off, I was surprised we had it but pleasantly so once we tasted it. Not a hard edge to ne found. Round and juicy. Some would consider it a little sweet but not in a cloying way. Actually pretty good wine and I am guessing it would be a crowd pleaser.
