  • Badly oxidised. Deep golden color with remarkable caramel notes on nose and palate.

  • I had my third and last bottle with an after work turkey sandwich on 2/11/16. It had a rich elegant bouquet of pear, apple, lemon zest, almond, butterscotch and tea aromas. The palate was rich, layered and dry with flavors of pear, lemon zest, almond, minerals and tea. 91+

  • Clear, golden straw in color, medium intensity with developing aromas of pear, apple, lemon, lime, vanilla, almond, honey, fig, smoke and earth. Slightly oxidative. Dry with medium levels of acidity and alcohol presenting medium intensity flavors of aforementioned profiles. Medium bodied, fruit driven wine that is soft textured, delicate on the palate providing a harmonious even finish. Not sure where to place this wine. While there is no denying this is well made, the slight oxidation of the wine introduces aroma/flavor profiles that are hard for me to accept here. Nonetheless, this was not an accident and was the style purposely intended by the winemaker, Raul Perez. A wine that strays into uncharted waters and should be experienced at least once.
