Off the list at Jaleo, Las Vegas. Fresh, balanced, and full of character, this wine is in a great spot now, but also shows structure to age several more years. That said, I think it's best now, and with 1 hour of air in decanter. There's a lot to this story, and I like all the chapters; if this has seen some oak, it's older/inert, same for malo, probably on partial - or at least that's how it presents. Something I will look for, and if I find some, I'll buy a good handful of not just a onesy/twosy. Excellent food wine, that's bright, cheerful, and well-balanced/blended/grown. 13,5% abv., best through 2023. recommended

We drank this with dinner at a friends house near Torreperogil Spain on 6/19/17. It had a deep, layered, elegant bouquet of smoke, nuts, pear, spice and mineral aromas. The palate was complex and focused with good acidity…flavors of pear, nuts, mineral and spice.

Like drinking spruce forest. Very good acidity and a feeling as much as a taste of green essential oils.

Pale yellow color. Muted nose both on the first and second day. Very delicate flavor. I was expecting more given the reviews.
