This was not near as good as the 2006 that I tasted at the winery. Chris is getting better fruit and has improved over his first vintage as a winemaker. DRINK NOW.

The nose on this wine was hot with some underlying dark fruits. Probably could have used some more time in the decanter than we gave it. Somewhat muted flavors of dark fruit with a decent finish. A very good wine, but there are plenty of Syrahs coming out of Washington right now that we prefer.

Dark red. Noticeable heat on the nose, some red fruit. Lots of fruit and tannin on the palate. Just a little sweetness and good acidity help keep the palate balanced. Long, warm finish. 50 + 4 + 10 + 16 + 7
