Yellow color with a lemony bouquet and flavor combined with somewhat harsh oak notes, detracting from the appeal. Fairly modest nuance and finish. Might have been better when younger.

This has filled out nicely. Best bottle so far. Great nose and weight. Pear, lemon and just the right amount of burnt marzipan and tart acidity in the long finish. Brewer Clifton at its best.

Great Chardonnay highlighting lovely fruit and a deft application of oak. Some hints of hazelnut and stone fruit. Great finish and beautiful richness, weight and depth.

For Jamie, our Chardonnay drinker. Only had a sip, but liked it a lot (last time we tried was the tasting room on vacation). Seems to sit between the oaky/buttery Chardonnay and the leaner wines with more minerality I seem to prefer these days.
