great raspberry and currant, and earth/stone; still has bright, fairly fine acidity, and is going strong. i really like the combination of lighter/medium body with plenty of stuffing.

Medium-deep red in the glass. Ample fruit and well balanced acidity and alcohol. Earth and a touch of smoke/tar. Traditionally styled and well crafted example of an Etna Rosso Nerello blend (80/20 Mascalese/Cappuccio). A lovely, food-friendly wine that's definitely worth a try.

Still going strong but fades with time open. Very volcanic which is the point!

This is very structured, and feels powerful, but is not heavy. It would be best with a steak, not a tomato/cheese pasta.

Bright and balanced; medium body with plenty of stuffing. Really worked with a home-made Campanian dinner at Rosetta's.
