Decanted off the moderate plus sediment. The nose suggests a more feminine style Syrah that has aged gracefully; notes of violets and lilac come laced with scents of sandalwood, blueberry and huckleberry fruits with touches of marionberry, spice, toasted star anise and caraway seed, leather and hints of olive, earth and oak. The palate well integrated tannins and a juicy core of acidity that leaves the mouth salivating. Flavors are smooth and interlaced nicely with notes of blueberry cream and huckleberry fruits, violets, spice, leather, anise and caraway. The wine finishes effortless and elegant. this has aged exceptionally well.

Quite high toned with cherry, currant and pepper notes. Sorry to be the low score here but while this was good it was short of special. Take this from a fan of the winery from what I've had so far.

(Cote Bonneville Estate Bottled Syrah DuBrul Vineyard Yakima Valley) Draws you into the glass with a complex medley of mineral, cherry, blue fruit, earth, herbs, and dusty chocolate. The palate is textured and restrained in feel with sultry fruit flavors. A delicious bottle that speaks distinctly of this vineyard. 100% Syrah. S says 97, I say 93. Didn't have enough focus (dinner out w/ friends) to delineate, but let's go with mighty fine.

Only bottle, but loved it. Beautifully balanced great terroir from the region. Totally drinkable but would have laid down also.
