This chard is holding up amazingly well. Honey colored, with hints of honey on the nose and a strong dose of vanilla. Still crisp and some fruit too. Great to drink now.

Very surprised to truly enjoy this wine. I have about a case and a half of this wine because we bought extra for our wedding in 2000. I had tried a bottle in 2005 and it was dead, lifeless. It has come back to life. Crisp, flavorful acidity, with a strong hint of vanilla (oak) on the nose and palate. Color was golden, but wine didn't taste oxidized. Seems to be aging more like a burgundy than a CA Chardonnay. Has plenty of life left.
