Apples were prevalent. Also, kind of a caramel thing going on (saw butterscotch somewhere). Otherwise, not how I remembered it. Good wine, but not knock-out like others have been.

This was excellent. Nose of green apples and honeysuckle gives way to a palate of apples, melon, brioche, and butterscotch. Good acidity -- oak has integrated. A nice effort.

Sam's California and the Pacific Northwest Tasting (Chicago Store): Had a taste at Sam's California Night. Dry and light oak. Seems a lot overpriced at $46.
