Decanted for 4 hours. A dense, chewy wine that is simultaneously light on its feet with good acidity. Aromas of cherry, earth, and milk chocolate. Flavors of wood (in a good way) and dark fruits with a finish that lasts nearly 45 secs. A really terrific effort and one that can be drunk now or continue to age

This is a big, blockbuster Petite Sirah. With production so limited at less than 50 cases this is a limited review. Big, smooth and very drinkable without any time in a decanter. Long finish and none of the viscous consistency and residue of many Petite. The brothers Buoncristiani know how to make great wines consistently. Last night it was their anniversary Cabernet. Separate review id good time.
