Dinner at Dino's (Dino's - Washington, DC): Lots of lemon, white flowers and bread dough on the nose. On the palate, brisk acid, creamy body and tons of bready notes. Apricot and yellow apple mix with light minerals. So much dough, French bread and yeast notes. Fresh and lively, but you must like the dough.

Lemon zest and slate on the initial palate. Great crisp effervesence. There's not much going on up front, but this wine continues to open and develop on the palate. The finish has a wonderful richness/density that lingers on the palate for a long long time. Very nice.

How can there be a drinking window that ends in 2008 when this is non-vintage. Oh, well. . . . My last half-bottle. So sad. I love this wine. Small bubbles, fairly numerous. Mucho yeastiness both on the nose and the palate. Robust flavour indeed! Paired swimmingly with aged Dutch gouda. I've had this wine now three times. And with each half-bottle, I love it the more! Excellent (88.5).
Another hit on Thanksgiving day! While preparing the bird and waiting while it was cooking, this half-bottle was a life-saver. Kept our palates activated. Still delish! Excellent (87.5).

Rich and unctuous, less austere. Not a typical blanc de blanc. Drinking well now. Don't cellar much longer.
