Similar on the palate, with fruit along the lines of cherry compote, meshing well with spice and chocolate. Good tart acidity, which seems to have done a good job preserving the wine. Noticeable but gentle tannins. Lightish/medium bodied. Somewhat short on depth/complexity, and maybe a bit over the hill, but drinking pretty well.

  Wonderful eucalyptus, mint, chocolate....still somewhat tannic, tight...fruit has turned more sour skin, tart.....aged plum. Not bad at all!
