Decanted, little sediment, breathed 30 minutes - still somewhat tight and a little dusty around the mouth, grapy and plummy, dark rich color, 20 minutes later - more grapey and plummy with delightful lingering aftertaste, drinking well

I have been buying this wine for over thirty years and have had many aged bottles that were amazing. Keep in mind I love mourvèdre, perhaps second only to pinot noir from Burgundy. This is my favorite inexpensive wine. If you are not familiar with mourvèdre, you might find this a bit agressive. No, it is not a Bandol (which I love). But Bandol in the states are $30-$100, and this is $14. And ancient vine, you are drinking history for the cost of two lattes at Starbucks.

Pas mon genre. Mon amie a adorée. Eucalyptus Romarin. On est dans cette palette. Il faut aimer!
J’ai bu de meilleur 100% Mourvèdre en espagne. Monastrell. Autour de même prix de 23$
Ou d’excellents Bandol avec 95% de Mourvèdre.
Plus dispendieux. Faites votre choix! À carafer
