(Mich&Bo) Dark translucent purple garnet in glass. Surprising concentration on the nose, chook poo and barnyard nose. With time, gives way to dark florals, wet moss and leafy vegetation. Sweet fruits, balanced with finely resolved tannins. Drinking at a great place, surprising power and vigor, youthful yet resolved. Yum!

Dark berries, mossy undergrowth, hints chook poo, exotic dark florals, some age starting to show, ripe plums, ripe boysenberries, streak mandarin peel and citrus florals, fresh mulch. Concentrated juicy berries, sweetness with lithe acidity, ashy bitters, ripe peach, great silky supple structure. Long minty finish, soft black ash, graphite and elegant. Well developed, possibly peak, and time to drink up. Very slight hints of age.

(MidWinter Brunner:Truffles+Wagyu+TextBookWines) Rich dark earthy plums, juicy black earth, feral mushrooms. Textural, yet translucent, juicy, pure and sweet, ending with an elegant twist of orange peel. Complete and totally coming into it's own. Perfect foil to Adel's incredible Truffled Egg Pasta. Amazing and hedonistic.

My last bottle, wish I had more as this is just starting to get to the style I really like. Light to mid ruby colour! With a cherry/raspberry nose and a bit of funk. Smooth and elegant with a little bit of secondary development - nice and savoury with a svelte body. This wine remains fresh and I echo earlier comments of beauty and effortless innocence. Drinking better than last year. May be like this for another year or more.
