  95% Merlot, the style you have at Lin Pin - only gravel, no clay - and exotic Pomerol I am being told - very velvety wines with wine and rounded and mature tannins but not with massive tannins. Its just not possible given the soil here. Unless you take it too far and give the jam, licorise taste, apparently Client used to do this but now is back to the responible stable. The Moeix family has never forgotten that I am being told.
  
  The reference is classical, not something that is extravagant but classical, long lasting, etc..
  
  40% new oak, but changes from vintage to vintage. and darn, yes that that is an exotic Pomerol, in a really good way. And then open wooden tanks (not new). THe idea is a burgundy fermentation, meaning not much pumping over and very gently done at that.
  
  That is pretty darn sexy stuff.

  From a blend of 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc, the wine is aged in 100% new oak, 50% of which are cigar-shaped barrels. Medium-bodied with cherry and a black raspberry finish. 88-90 Pts.
