  The nose is lively and filled with strawberry and watermelon hard candy, morning dew, rose petal, and slate. The palate, though somewhat dilute initially, begins with fresh strawberry and violet florals. Honeydew melon arises on the quick mid-palate, merging into a strong finish of sweet red fruit, dried green herbs, and orange citrus acidity. The wine is surprisingly full bodied for a rose (most likely due to the level of alcohol), but retains freshness due to a sufficient acid/mineral spine. This is very pleasurable and easy drinking, which is what this succeeds in being. Also, this is much more interesting around room temperature. R&M 85
