Not even the barest trace of sediment in the bottle, this has clearly been sterile filtered. These wines always taste denuded and dry. They have the rudiments of freshness and flavor/aroma of Barolo, but that's where it ends. 83
Gritty finish when first opened but that quickly gave way. What we got out of it was peppermint patty laced with orange oil, which is quite different than notes from others so perhaps this has evolved a bit. We opened this colder than usual, about 55 degrees. We thoroughly enjoyed this and it was worth the wholesale price we paid but retail you can probably find a better option at that price point.
