Emirates lounge. Clearly lighter in color than the 2011 Pauillac de Latour, this is showing a medium garnet with a clear rim. Slightly pruney on the nose this again shows a fairly rich mouthfeel on the attack but then underdelivers on a palate that lacks a bit of depth, medium (-) tannins, short. Ok and good to drink now

Joanne Bordeaux Trip 2018 (Bordeaux): The nose showed ripe raspberry, crushed blueberry and spice with sweet florals. It was soft on the palate, with dark red berries, savory herbs, energizing acidity, zesty spices and hints of grippy tannin. The finish was long and spicy, resonating on wildberries and sweet inner floral tones.

At a good time in is life and was nice to see good fruit and total lack of a green edge given a 2011. On the soft side if anything, good dark fruit, some oak present still but in a good way and gives a roundness to the wine. Good acidity and drinks very well at this stage. A solid 89

The Grand Tour - day eleven (Bordeaux): Softy, juicy plums on the nose. Cream and a touch of raspberry back this up. More of the same on the palate. Soft, easy, tannic burr, Medium plus length with a touch of warm on the finish. Nicely done.

Concentrated blue and black fruit-driven bouquet with floral and spicy undertone.
Smooth but substantial tannin, med plus acidity, med full body. Lots of fruit and floral profile in this wine. Doesn't seem to have anything special despite the celebrated winemaking team behind it.
Nice and decent right bank juice. 88.
