2000 Barbarescos and older Nebbiolos (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Lemony citrus with a hint of tropical fruit. Nice acidity and minerality. Excellent. Tasted blind.
Scholium Dinner (Ripple - Cleveland Park, Washington, D.C.): Incredibly fresh on the palate with lots of acid, grass, and grapefruit. This had some noticeable weight too with really nice herbal tones throughout.
