In mag. Some discussion that this has likely been topped up with some younger wine. Secondary and tertiary notes. Sweet fruit, ripe. Nice wine, but not overly complex.Long finish. Some dusty tannins. Appears much younger than a 59.

Remoissenet Clos Vougeot Vertical (Beaune): Tasted at Remoissenet Cellars, Beaune Quite evolved colour, brown to the rim. Palate lacks energy and this bottle has slightly cardboardy finish. I don't this bottle can be representative, not corked but not in good condition.

Farewell to a Great Restaurant (Charlie Trotter's - Chicago IL): Ripe black fruit holding up well with good forest floor character. Very good flavors that didn't exactly show a lot of Grand Cru charm to me, and I wasn't 100% certain if this seemed to be 100% Pinot Noir.

Yesterday we have had a Burgundy event. Mainly matured Remoissenet. My second bottel (Oktober 2019 and yesterday), beautiful mature burgundy.
