Shiny, medium garnet, some sediment. Should have decanted. Moderately intense aromas: vinyl concealing black cherry and blackberry, loam, smoke. Dry, with moderate acidity and moderate drying tannins. Medium-bodied, 13.5°. Not showing very well, and it's been open a few hours. Continue to cellar the rest?

Just delicious. Nose pops from bottle. Soft tan. Misses some cut (acid), yet sweet and delightful to drink.

(Most of) The Burgundy Verticals Tasting at La Paulee 2013 (Colicchio & Sons, New York): This seemed infinitely more interesting than the 2010-more floral, spicier, lacier in texture, lighter weight. Tannic finish. What it lacks in weight and concentration, it makes up for in complexity.
