Drank after dinner - a guest wanted a glass of wine, and we opened this. Less vegetal as it ages. Dark purple, still looks like it was bottled last Thursday. Pleasant, fruity nose. Balanced, east drinks ng palate. Med/long finish. Not a big, burly cab, but a delight to sit and sip.
Decent Cab from a zin producer. Not too fruity. Smooth tannins. I prefer a bit more tannin. I also like my cabs a bit more herbaceous. Not very complex, not sure what the future holds for this wine but it should be able to age further. However it is drinking fine now and I don't think this style is made to age a long time. Looking forward to trying future vintages. I was surprised to see no other reviews of this wine.
Lush, chocolaty nose of black and red fruits. Still purple in color. Simple but delicious. Seems more Turley than Cab. Is there some Zin in this? Quite tasty with a 3-inch prime Delmonico from the grill.
