Popped and poured. Dark ruby in the glass. First aroma is dust, but maybe it's Rutherford dust because it opens up after half an hour into a joyfully juicy and fruity charmer with cassis, black cherry, cocoa and a bit of clove on the palate. Very fine tannins, long slightly sweet finish. It's a Thursday wine, but I enjoy Thursdays. Maybe not for long keeping but who knows? Very nice QPR at $18.

Still very drinkable, properly cellared. Better than I expected.
